By on March 30, 2018 0

Ceslovas Cesnakevicius is one of the best surrealists from Vilnius, Lithuania. He creates fanciful collection of photo manipulations that range between fine art and digital photography. His surprisingly images begin with his photos. He got into taking photographs when he was 25 years old; just to create these surrealistic images. He was born on January 14, 1978 and he is 40 years old. Every single work of him possesses that lumination and attracting feeling. Ceslovas usually uses photos of clouds or the moon which remind us that there might be existence further than our small world.

All his artworks are deeply personal to him. According to Ceslovas Cesnakevicius “Each of my work has its own little story. Generally speaking, my images come depending on my experiences, my impressions and a set of other things I go through as a person and a human being.” (To see more of his artworks you can follow him on social media Instagram: @cesnakevicius or Facebook: @cesnakevicius.art)

“My painting is visible images which conceal nothing… they evoke mystery and indeed when one sees one of my pictures, one asks oneself this simple question ‘What does that mean’? It does not mean anything, because mystery means nothing either, it is unknowable.” -Rene Magritte
