Tetsuya Ishida’s surreal world

Ishida Teruya was born in Yaizu City, Shizuoka prefecture in 1973, passed through Shizuoka prefecture Yaizu Chuo High School, graduated from Musashino Art University, and continued vigorously presenting paintings in Tokyo. In May 2005 I came on a railroad accident near Machida in Tokyo and became a person who was unfaithful. After introducing at NHK “New Sunday Art Museum”, it was to shock a lot of viewers. Ishida Tetsuya ‘s work depicts the world imaged from the real life of Ishida individual on the canvas, but the drawn world looks like an unreal world.

However, the depiction which can be thought of as self-portrait of their own chooses criticizes the preciousness of individual’s human rights in Japanese society, the problem of school education, the social structure of Japan which is managed, and expresses the problem of people’s mind. Today Teruya Ishida is a social problem in juvenile offenses and child murder cases, Tetsuya Ishida sees as a problem of boys and children’s minds who are weak people, and by expressing it with paintings, expressing the mind of modern people I painted “pain and sadness” lurking in the depths.

“I appreciate the ‘Surreal Life.’ I had a really positive experience on that show, and with those people. I found some love in my heart for religion again, and had the support of a new family of friends. I wouldn’t have had the pleasure of meeting those people, if we were not all placed in that fishbowl.” – Vince Neil
